Our Goal is to Provide You with a

First-Class Experience.

We believe in being transparent and communicating with our clients on what they can expect working with us.

Below you will find an overview of the process for all of our potential clients.

1. The first step in the process is to schedule a discovery call.

A discovery call is free and no charge to you. Schedule for a time convenient for you and plan for 20 minutes. During the call, we will discuss your legal needs and what services are a best fit for your business. We do not schedule a service without a discovery call except for returning clients or in special circumstances.

2. Complete the booking form with as much accurate, truthful, and thorough information as possible.

When you schedule your discovery call, all of the information we ask is necessary for our intake process. As a law firm, we are required to screen every client and this information helps us to do that and ensure we can adequately provide the services your business needs.

3. Attend your discovery call or check your email if cancelled.

The call information for your discovery call will be in your booking confirmation. You will receive email reminders and we suggest adding it to your calendar. If your discovery call is cancelled, check your email for a follow-up explanation. It may be cancelled for several reasons: we have a legal conflict that prevents us from representing you, we are unable to properly serve you at this time, or we believe you will be best served by another firm.

If you are more than 5 minutes late, your call will be cancelled and you will be responsible for rescheduling. We limit the number of discovery calls to 2 for new clients within a 30 day period.

4. Review and sign the engagement letter. Select and pay for services. Read your welcome letter.

No service will be provided until a signed engagement letter and any additional forms are signed by all business owners and received. Payment is also required before services will begin. Any time frame for services starts once the signed engagement letter and payment is received. The engagement letter is sent via email. After payment, you will receive your client welcome letter welcoming you to the Legacy Legal family. For businesses with multiple business owners, a point of contact will be designated for all communications.

5. Remain in communication with us throughout the process.

We understand life and business gets busy and we try to make it as stress free as possible to stay in contact with us. Once services begin, we ask and expect our clients to remain in communication with us and respond within 7 calendar days of any request from us. Email is our main method of communication and all client calls are scheduled to respect your time and ours. There is a text option available if selected.

6. Complete the client satisfaction survey and receive your client letter.

We are here to serve. At the end of service, we ask our clients to complete a client satisfaction survey. You’ll also receive a close-out letter with a summary of the services requested, any legal advice, and a complimentary report we provide to all of our clients. Our clients return, so the close-out letter is not goodbye, but a closing of the current services provided.

That’s the process at Legacy Legal & Consulting Firm.

The timeframe for services depends on the services requested.

We ask that you plan to contact us at least 2-3 weeks in advance of when you need services completed.

Any expedited service may require an additional fee or be referred.

Your business is not your brand,

but your brand can be your business.

Every business has a brand. It’s the signature identifier that a product, service, or event is associated with your company or you. Your brand is bigger than your logo. It includes the words you use, the images, the stylistic presentation of your messaging and packaging, your brand colors, and even the names you use for your products and services. YOU can be your brand and your brand includes YOU.

Your brand matters because it is what makes your business DISTINCT and STAND OUT from every other business in the marketplace. Your brand is an A$$ET.

Here at Legacy Legal & Consulting… we PROTECT ASSETS! You cannot monetize what you do not protect and you cannot protect what you do not own.

As you build a brand or rebrand, no matter how long you’ve been in business, infringing on another’s intellectual property is the fastest way to lose your business, money, and time. At Legacy Legal, we help you protect your brand from the beginning when selecting a business name or a name for products and services, in your contracts, in business opportunities, and in hiring and firing. Note that trademark and copyright services are not yet available, however, we offer referrals to trusted attorneys.

Ready to protect your brand? Schedule a discovery call to get started.

Legacy is more than money.

You are not here by accident and neither is your business. Yes, we are in business to make money, but Legacy is about more than money. Legacy is about the impact of your life and your business on the world, culture, and community one person, one client, and one customer at a time.

Legacy lives on beyond you. SoWhat will your legacy be?

Legacy Legal Website - Legacy Client Story.png

As you build a legacy through business, it’s vital that you understand the actions you take today could impact your legacy years from now. The images you post on social media and your website. That contract you sign. Who you decide to do business with. Your hiring decisions and policies. It all matters.

Your business has the potential to be passed on to family or to continue generating income that your family can live on for years and generations to come. That, however, is dependent upon your business decisions now.

As CEO, you are in charge and constantly making decisions to advance your company forward and increase your profits. Every decision has the legal potential to assist or derail you as you build a legacy.

Allow Legacy Legal & Consulting to walk with you and advise you on the journey. While you focus on building a legacy, we can spot the legal risks in your business decisions, opportunities, and steer you in the right direction with the services we offer.

The number one way to build wealth is through business.

The key is keeping your wealth.

The number one way to build wealth is through business. You do that by creating and protecting your business assets. Assets come in the form of your ideas, creativity, innovation, the products and services you create, and partnerships you build. It also comes from building a brand that stands out and speaks to your unique audience in the market to say: hey, over here, we are exactly what you are looking for.

Building wealth is one thing. Keeping it is another. A part of the strategy for building and securing your wealth is understanding and having in place the legal safeguards necessary in your unique business.

Legal safeguards to secure your wealth include selecting the correct entity structure, minimizing tax liability legally, following the rules for your business structure and banking, not infringing on others’ intellectual property, registering your own intellectual property and monitoring it to prevent others from infringing, proper contracts, hiring the right people, and so much more.

Chances are you don’t know every area of your business that needs protecting or all the decisions that need wise legal counsel to secure your wealth.,.. but we can help with that.
